Time to meet Marleigh

On Thursday at 2PM, we went for a routine prenatal visit at 38 weeks. Jessica's blood pressure was way too high (near 160/110!), and her physician suspected pre-eclampsia. We were sent right away to the hospital's evaluation department for more tests. We spent close to 4 hours waiting for results and wondering what would happen next. Near 6PM, we got the news. Pre-eclampsia was ruled out, but PIH was enough to keep us in the hospital. We were officially stuck and labor would soon be induced. Anthony ran home to pack some bags while Jess was being admitted to L&D. He drove very fast. Forced himself to slow down and not crash. We would finally get to see what she looked like!
After more than 24 hours in the hospital with little to no progress,
We were ready to meet her.
